After the event occurred in the Sunwell and its subsequent purification ended, all of Azeroth fell into an apparent calm that was altered when a plague of undead attacked all cities and towns, both in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. "Burning Crusade" has turned its page arriving, with this event, "Wrath of the Lich King". An expansion full of news and stories told by each character you meet on your way. A continent, Northrend, filled with never-before-seen creatures, totally unique climates and landscapes, and a Lich King seeking to eliminate all vestige of the horde and alliance. Underneath it all, the champions of Azeroth must assault Icecrown Citadel, defeat every minion that the path imposes on them, and finally, face Arthas himself to bring peace and eliminate, once and for all, the plague.
